In October 2024, the grand media convergence event "A Thousand Miles of Rivers and Mountains Like a Painting" by China Central Television (CCTV) will culminate with its finale piece—"The New Peach Blossom Spring." Departing from previous creative approaches, this installment merges digital art with technology to craft a modern rendition of the idyllic Peach Blossom Spring, presenting a vision of prosperity and beauty.

Chen Ruokun, founder of Digital FUN, had the honor of being invited by CCTV to collaborate with the Blackbow team and faculty and students from Tsinghua University's Academy of Arts & Design to provide a visual experience that fuses technology with artistic innovation. In the initial stages, the team utilized LiDAR, 3D scanning, motion capture, and virtual reality interaction technologies to gather on-site data from Nanshan Village. The Digital FUN team chose to employ TouchDesigner and AIGC generation technology to create the stage's visual effects. Ultimately, through the use of 3D Mapping technology, the creation was brought back to the wilderness, guiding the audience into the "New Peach Blossom Spring."
