On April 16, 2023, FAW Toyota's bZ3 launch event in Shanghai featured the AI host "Xiaofei," who explored the car's origins and integrated the lives of Toyota owners. To make the virtual character relatable, Digital FUN's Technology Department used Unreal Engine and TouchDesigner to create a real-time facial capture system. Infrared depth-sensing cameras captured facial expressions, bringing "Xiaofei" to life with emotions.
